 Jyotish is Vedic Astrology, "The Science of Light." It appears that the roots of Jyotish go back at least 4000 to 6000 years. Unlike Western astrology, (click here for general astrology) Jyotish is clearly spiritual in both its roots and its approach. The concepts of karma and reincarnation are integrally related to the Jyotish approach. We are not qualified, and therefore will not attempt, to outline the technical differences between Jyotish and Western astrology. We do know many people who swear by their personal Jyotishi.
