This is a wonderful book to introduce children to the endless cycle of birth, old age, death, and rebirth. A story of a boy who loves to fly his kite in the mountains of Tibet. The book follows his growth through the many cycles of life, followed by his death and his wish to be reborn to his same village. Again he is seen as a youngster flying a kite in the mountains of Tibet, this time as a young girl. For 2nd grade and up.
